Intro til uddannelsen

Verden forandrer sig - det gør uddannelser også. RUC har lanceret nye kandidatuddannelser - Molecular Health Science er én af dem.
Molecular Health Science - Hvad er det?

Molecular Health Science will give you a thorough understanding of the molecular mechanisms behind human health, as well as the development of drugs and the treatment of diseases.

Thus, the programme covers the area between health, diseases and molecular biology.

The programme is rooted in experimental molecular biological studies of disease mechanisms, diagnostics and health.

As a student, your knowledge of practice is acquired by the clinic-related teaching being handled by doctors, who include practice from problems in the client sector, e.g. quality considerations, bioproduction, standards and deviation management. You will also have the opportunity to complete an internship and write a project or thesis in collaboration with a company or a hospital.

As a graduate from the programme, you can hold relevant positions in the health preparedness (e.g. pathogen detection with molecular methods or human toxicological assessment of "new" chemical substances), basic health science research and development, and you can be involved in the development, marketing and quality assurance of medicines or biotechnological products.
