About the event

Digital Tech Summit is the largest academic based technology and business event in the Nordic countries. It is part conference, part exhibition and part networking activities. The summit will gather over 5,000 decision-makers, CEOs, researchers, companies, engineers, students, startups, investors, policymakers and more come together to discuss and share the “what, when, how and why” of the digital technologies and transformations–this year under the headline "Building European Tech Resilience".

The summit takes place from October 25th to 26th at Bella Center Copenhagen located in the eastmost part of Copenhagen (København S).

PandemiX involvement

The Covid-19 pandemic disrupted daily life globally and brought with it a renewed focus on health data science and epidemiology. The challenges of the pandemic necessitated vast collection and analysis of data, as well as novel ideas for reducing infections and the pressure on medical institutions.
At the PandemiX research center at Roskilde University, an interdisciplinary approach to epidemiology is used to investigate contemporary and historical pandemics, using insight from a multitude of scientific fields ranging from microbiology to mathematics and physics.
PandemiX researchers will contribute to the discussion through a session at the second day of the summit (October 26th) on how we can prepare for future pandemics while reflecting on their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic.
