A bachelor's programme begins with a one year basic section of interdisciplinary studies.
The last two years you will specialise in one or two bachelor subjects.

Communication Studies (int)

In the bachelor subject Communication Studies you learn to Identify relevant communication problems, devise a communication plan, produce a communication product and address different approaches to audience target groups.

How to study Communication Studies (int):

  • Intro to Business Studies (int)

    At the bachelor subject Business Studies, you will learn to analyse companies using key theories and methods within business economics, focusing on a company’s finances, organisation, and sales. We will teach you interdisciplinary approaches to financial, organisational, and managerial aspects of companies and corporate processes.

    How the programme is structured

    A Bachelor in Communication Studies (int) + Business Studies (int) is part of an overall bachelor programme. You can choose between:

    First year of studies

    You will study the basic section of your programme. You will learn important aspects of disciplines relevant to your main academic area.

    Second and third year of studies

    You will specialise in one or two bachelor subjects.

    When you combine two subjects, your time of studies will be divided equally among the two. If you study a single subject bachelor, your second and third year of studies will be spent on a single subject.

    At the bachelor subject Computer Science, you learn the process of software development – from planning and analysing, to design and implementation, and finally test and documentation of a programming task.

  • Intro to Cultural Encounters (int)

    At Cultural Encounters, you will develop your competences in cultural understanding and learn to analyse and constructively engage with problems relating to cultural encounters and diversity. You will gain skills that are highly valued in the job market: Working constructively with issues that arise in cultural encounters and navigating diversity in all types of projects and processes.
