How to apply
You must apply via the digital application system (DANS), which is available one month before the application deadline. All required documents must be uploaded in the system.
You may apply for up to three programmes at Roskilde University and need to prioritize your applications. Any additional applications will not be taken into consideration. Please note that you cannot change your priorities after the application deadline.
If you apply for admission to more than one master’s programme, the order that you rank your choices is very important, as you can only be offered admission to one programme. This means that you will only receive an offer to the highest priority where you qualify for admission or to the highest priority where you can qualify for admission by completing prerequisite studies first. You will not receive a response to the other priority/priorities.
In case you do not qualify for admission for any of the master programmes that you have applied for admission to, you will receive a reason of rejection concerning each of your priorities.
In order to apply online, you must:
1) Log on to the digital application system DANS
Log-on to the digital application portal DANS is done through the log-in service WAYF which is a national log-in service used by Danish educational institutions. There are three different ways to log in to the application system via WAYF:
- with NemID - use this if you have a Danish CPR number
- with a valid log-in for a Danish educational institution connected to WAYF
- as a self-created user
It is important to remember which log-in you have used. You must use the same log-in throughout the application process, as you will not be able to access applications with any other log-in than the one used to create the application.
Note that you choice of log-in will determine which e-mail address will be tied to the application. The e-mail address is important as all communication regarding your application including the final decision will take the form of messages stored in the application system and you will receive an e-mail alerting you concerning any new messages.
