Special issue on "The People, Democracy and Populism" Edited by the Research Group

The research group has edited a special issue of the peer-reviewed journal Slagmark. It contains ten original contributions and an enquete on populism.

Mikkel Flohr and Allan Dreyer Hansen from the research group have edited a special issue of Slagmark – Tidsskrift for Idéhistorie on  “The People, Democracy and Populism.” The issue contains original contributions from leading Danish and international researchers in the field. The table of contents and the introduction is freely available on the journal’s homepage (Danish only).

The special issue contains a substantial introduction by the editors, ten original articles and an enquete on populism with contributions from Cas Mudde, Jan-Werner Müller, Chantal Mouffe, Camilla Vergara and Anton Jäger.

The publication was celebrated with a reception at Aarhus University with brief presentations from the editors as well as three of the contributors Mikkel Thorup, Morten Haugaard Jeppesen and Alberte Bové Rud. An event was also organized in Roskilde. A corresponding event will soon be organized in Copenhagen.
