Centre for News Research
The Centre for News Research conducts practice-oriented news research. The purpose is to build bridges between journalistic and academic activities and to promote greater collaboration between the university and the media industry.
The Centre for News Research conducts large and small research projects, arranges seminars and is the home for ongoing studies such as the annual "The Reuters News Report" and "Who Makes the News", which is made every five years.
The Centre for News Research collaborates with the journalism master programme at Roskilde University to conduct research-based teaching, where researchers incorporate the latest knowledge into their teaching, and teaching-based research, where researchers involve students in specific research projects.
