New research paper out in New Media & Society

The paper ‘ Researching publics in datafied societies: Insights from four approaches to the concept of ‘publics’ and a (hybrid) research agenda’ is now online at New Media & Society. The paper is the first collaborative paper of the DataPublics project to be published.

The initial conceptual paper that describes the research agenda set forth by the DataPublics team is now available online, as it in the 21st of June was published by the journal New Media & Society.

The paper reviews previous conceptual approaches to publics - predominately in the digital era - in order to both categories and discuss these and ultimately build a foundation for presenting a new research agenda of how publics can be studied in a datafied society.
