InterFlow – Numerical Methods for Interfacial Flows
The InterFlow project is about improving our ability to predict so-called interfacial fluid flows by use of computer simulations. Interfacial flows are flows where there is a fluid interface between two or more different fluids (called two-phase or multiphase flows, respectively). The goal is to develop the next generation of fast and accurate simulation tools for interfacial flows. This will pave the way for digitalization of a large number of engineering design processes where appropriate interplay with an interfacial flow is crucial for the functionality of a product or a structure.
