Research assistant Leif Pedersen represents AlterPublics at the ninth biennial Future of Journalism Conference in Cardiff on 14th and 15th of September 2023.

He participates with a presentation about the ongoing interview study that AlterPublics conduct in cooperation with Karoline Andrea Ihlebæk and Tine Ustad Figenschou from OsloMet on news editors' attitudes towards the rise of alternative media in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.

The interview study, which was also presented last month at the NordMedia23 conference in Bergen by Leif Pedersen and project leader Eva Mayerhöffer, has developed further and will now receive important feedback from the journalism studies research environment.

The presentation will take place on 14th of September at 2.30pm in a conference session on journalistic boundary work, where there will also be three other exciting presentations from international colleagues. The entire program for the conference can be found here.
