Researchers from MOSPUS at Roskilde University, UiT and University of Copenhagen are editing a special issue: Participatory Planning and Nature – How Are Nordic Countries Dealing with the Climate and Biodiversity Crises?
The special issue focuses on the effects and results of participatory planning; the opportunities, pitfalls and potentials of citizen involvement in relation to nature. We particularly invite papers that critically examine the ladder, process and level of democratic participation with critical analysis of whether it contributes to reaching the environment, climate and biodiversity goals at local, regional and national scales.
