PandemiX Annual Meeting 9-10th October 2023 in Helsingør

On the 9th-10th October, researchers from PandemiX gathered for a two-day meeting in Helsingør. The program included both scientific presentations by representatives from the center's research programmes, but also planning for the center's future collaboration and interdisciplinary research.

The annual PandemiX meeting was held this year in Helsingør at Marienlyst Strandhotel.

At the meeting, the center's researchers and employees gathered for a two-day meeting, where both scientific presentations and planning of the center's future collaboration and interdisciplinary research were on the agenda.

The scientific presentations were divided into six research programs and addressed respectively: (1) the drivers of zoonotic events, (2) mathematical models of pandemic signatures, (3) how do we prepare for 'Disease X', (4) analysis of COVID-19 in a clinical perspective, (4) pandemics of the past, (5) infectious diseases and mortality, (6) 'the pandemic endgame'.

PandemiX looks forward to the continued, long-term collaboration among colleagues from many different scientific fields.
