MOSPUS nominate Löic Wacquant

Do to his impact on MOSPUS and continued collaborations with us, we nominate Löic Wacquant as honory doctor at Roskilde University for the 2024 celebration.

Löic Wacquant has visited Roskilde University several times, he has directly engaged with researchers from MOSPUS in research networks, seminars, exchange and the group has recently translated on of his books Urban Outcasts (2023) to Danish. At the same time, the work of Wacquant is discussed and applied in several research groups at RUC including Mospus (IMT) and SODYC (ISE), as well as in courses and teaching.

Wacquant has published more than a hundred books and research articles in journals of sociology, anthropology, criminology, social theory, feminist studies, social policy, philosophy, psychology, physical education, literature, architecture, and urban and cultural studies and do to his impact on MOSPUS and continued collaborations with us, we nominate him as honory doctor at Roskilde University for the 2024 celebration.
