At the Digital Tech Summit in November at Roskilde University, Professor Ada Scupola (RUC), Associate Professor Kathrin Kirchner (DTU), and Senior Researcher Kasper Edwards presented the talk "Artificial Intelligence (AI) In Management."

The presentation focused on the role and functions of AI in management work. Research indicates that AI is used to relieve professionals from simple but labor-intensive processes such as analysis, data collection, and suggesting relevant job applicants.

However, the use of AI comes with both opportunities and challenges. Employees may be concerned about the purpose and intention of AI, for example, its use as a control mechanism. Nevertheless, it provides greater freedom and frees up resources. The use of AI is thus popular but often not well understood by top management, perhaps even misunderstood.
