CNN visited PandemiX to explore Denmark’s vaccination programme

PandemiX recently had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Chief Medical Correspondent at CNN, along with his television crew. The visit formed part of an in depth feature on the Danish healthcare system and the scientific and historical foundations of Denmark’s vaccination programme.
During this visit, Dr. Gupta and Professor Lone Simonsen discussed how Denmark maintains comprehensive national registries covering both vaccinations and previous infections. This approach enables health authorities to detect patterns, anticipate the spread of disease, and prevent future outbreaks more effectively.
