Jacob Rasmussen (RUC) will present on Alternative Communities and the Subtle Work of Green Transitions, exploring how alternative communities in India, South Africa and Denmark subtly influence green transitions.

Meet Associate Professor Tatiana Fogelman, who in this CSS Lunch Series talks about: Care versus Advocacy? Contestations of urban citizenship-making in Copenhagen.

Meg Holden (Simon Fraser University, Vancouver) will present on Using our Words to Change the Conventions of Urban Worlds, highlighting the role of translanguaging in advancing a politics of urban transformation, and defining and demonstrating what this can entail as an urban research methodology, using examples from Indigenous languages of Canada as well as French, Danish and Finnish.

Martin Ejsing Christensen will present his recent book on Analytic Philosophy and the Critical Reception of John Dewey’s Pragmatic Philosophy (2025), which intervenes in the contested history of the relationship between analytic philosophy and John Dewey's pragmatic philosophy.
