When can I apply?
You can apply for admission to the bachelor’s programmes once a year for the September entry.
You apply online via optagelse.dk, which is available from February 1 each year.
Application deadlines
International entry qualification
- Application deadline: March 15, 12 noon (CET)
- Educational background: International entry qualification including the Danish/French Baccalaureate (DFB), Danish/German upper secondary school leaving examination (DIAP), European Baccalaureate (EB), International Baccalaureate (IB) and the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB)
Exemption-based admission
- Application deadline: March 15, 12 noon (CET)
- Educational background: Other relevant educational qualifications that are comparable to the admission requirements
Applying for re-enrollment and readmission
If you wish to resume your studies at a bachelor's programme, you must apply for either re-enrollment or readmission.

Vacant study places
When to apply
On July 28, vacant study places and the application procedure is announced on RUC’s website.
Bachelor’s programmes
If there are vacant study places at the International Bachelor in Natural Sciences, applicants with an international entry qualification or Danish upper secondary education can apply for this programme.
If there are vacant study places at the other bachelor’s programmes, only quota 1 applicants with a Danish upper secondary education can apply for these.
Non-EU/EEA citizens
If you are a non-EU/EEA citizen who need a study residence permit to study in Denmark, you cannot apply for vacant study places.
