We conduct interdisciplinary problem-oriented gender studies within a diversity perspective. The research centre is a meeting place for students, researchers and practitioners who are interested in interdisciplinary problem-oriented gender studies. The activities of the centre are open to all interested stakeholders, internally at Roskilde University as well as externally. We offer courses in gender theory as well as supervision and other teaching activities that include gender and diversity perspectives.
As a researcher and teacher at RUC, you can present your research or participate in collegial discussions at our monthly Gender Lunch. We also offer support for seminars and workshops at which you can present your research or invite researchers form other universities. You can participate in discussions pertaining to teaching and learning from the perspectives of gender and diversity, and you can become involved in course development.
As a student at RUC, you can present your gender and/or diversity related project work and receive feedback. You have the opportunity to talk to your teachers in a smaller forum and to strengthen your network – within academia and beyond.
As a practitioners, student or researcher who is not at RUC, you can participate in all our public events and contact individual researchers for potential collaboration and knowledge sharing.
