PhD Programme in Social Studies
At the social studies PhD programme we study the dynamic processes that take place between people, institutions and companies. The programme gives you the skills to identify and analyze social and societal issues and find solutions to the challenges facing modern societies.
A key aspect is to understand the social mechanisms and processes that characterize different societal models, globalization trends and other social changes. You will receive theoretical and methodological tools for dealing with topics like citizenship and class, criticism, participation and power, welfare, work, gender and ethnicity, inequality, stigma, ethics, diversity, solidarity and cohesion.
