Connecting with SHiP, a network to Study the history of Health in Port cities

    NORDEMICS researchers Lone Simonsen, Maarten van Wijhe and Rasmus Kristoffer Petersen gave a talk at the annual conference of the SHiP Project: Studying the history of Health in Import Cities. At Reboud University the SHiP Projcet brings together scholars in social history, historical demography, medical history and historical epidemiology to investigate the evolution of mortality and health in port cities in Europe.

    The talk given was called 'How detail-rich mortality data reveal disease-signature: Understanding the Danish epidemic of 1831'.
