Use the library

Roskilde University library (RUb) is located just off the RU main entrance and is built as an open, bright and welcoming library space.

RUb is specially designed to be a workspace for students and staff at the Roskilde University - and in the best possible way accompany them in their studies.

In the summer vacation period from week 26 to 34 and between Christmas and New Year:
Monday - Friday 9:00 - 15:00
Saturday, Sundays and public holidays closed

Facilities in the library building
  • 368 seats
  • WiFi covering the entire building
  • Two reading rooms
    • computers allowed in the bigger room
    • with lockers and seating for 15 persons
  • Group room (L3) with large screen
  • Four group tables with large screens for laptops (section B og C)
  • Mikrofilm room with scanner
  • Three classrooms seating a total of 60 persons for hands-on classes
  • Access to print from all computers
  • Access to black-and-white and color copiers
  • Scanners
Booking of group-room

Students and staf at Roskilde University can book the group-room (L3)  in the Outlook/Webmail calender. The room can be booked for up to three hours. The same person can book the room one time per day.

Other facilities, including group tables with large screens, can not be booked ("first-come, first-served").
