Corona Virus (COVID-19)

The institutions of higher education are closed from Wednesday the 9th of December for the reception of students with the exceptions set out below. At the same time, all public employers have been encouraged to send all employees home unless they perform critical functions. Due to the serious COVID-19 situation, the following has been decided:
For students
Teaching
All teaching in the spring semester 2021 will be converted to online teaching, unless the teaching requires physical attendance (e.g. laboratory teaching).You will receive a link in Moodle as usual for online teaching.
All PhD courses in the spring will be converted to online courses similarly to courses for bachelor's and master's students.
Exams
All physical campus exams in January have been rescheduled as online exams unless this is practically or physically impossible. The students who are to take part in a physical exam will be notified via Moodle whether the examination form will be maintained or changed, or whether the exam will be postponed.
Please notice that campus is closed in relation to all other activities. unfortunately, this means that it is not possible to meet with your project group at RUC or otherwise be on campus.
For employees
Restrictions applicable from the 9th of December until further notice
All employees will be working from home, unless they perform a critical function.
In relation to research at all departments, this means that presence at Roskilde University can only take place if it is critically necessary for your research; including to ensure that critical research data is not lost. Physical presence at Roskilde University must take place according to agreement with the department management at your respective department.
Teachers may carry out digital exams from campus according to agreement with the department management if they have very special circumstances that could complicate the exam.
Campus

Canteen: Closed
Reception and Service Desk: Closed. It is possible to find answers to many questions on the Service Portal.
IT support: You can contact IT support on 46 74 35 00 every day between 07.30 and 17.30. If you have an urgent need for IT equipment, you can write to servicedesk@ruc.dk
Student Hub: Closed for physical visits. Contact them by email and phone
Library: The University Library will be open with service on weekdays between 10.00-13.00. During that time, it will only be possible to return, lend and copy materials. It will not be possible to stay at the university library, and you will not be able to use study places etc. The building will be closed outside opening hours. All services will continue digitally.
