Find the Right Master Programme

Many of our master programmes consist of two subjects. Subject 1 defines your studies and thesis.
Subject 2 gives you the interdisciplinary perspective. Some programmes are single subject masters.

Environmental Biology (int)

Environmental Biology focuses on the interaction between living animals, plants and micro-organisms and their physical, chemical and biological environment.

How to study Environmental Biology (int):

With thesis in Environmental Biology (int):
  • Environmental Biology (int) +

    Computer Science (int)

The Master's programme Environmental Biology + Computer Science will qualify you to work with computational models and tools for applications within biological and ecological systems. You will learn how to program advanced software solutions and to make numerical simulations of biological and ecological systems.
  • Environmental Biology (int) +

    Molecular Biology (int)

In the master's programme Environmental Biology + Molecular Biology, you can become qualified to use genetic engineering methods to explore population ecology issues. Or you can investigate the cellular mechanisms behind the toxicological effects of environmental chemicals for organisms.
With thesis in another subject
  • Environmental Biology (int)

    Chemistry (int) +
In the master's programme Chemistry + Environmental Biology you will work with organic and inorganic chemistry, analytic and environmental chemistry, eco-toxicology, population and system ecology and biological resource management.
