Center for Big Data (CeBiDa) invites to the roundtable on Big Data Ethics
When: Tuesday, April 14, 2020, 9-11
Where: CeBida's premises at RUB
Personal data plays an increasingly important role in service, growth, and development in our society - and for research. However, personal data cannot be used freely but must be collected and processed in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Regulation. In research and development processes involving big data sets that are subject to AI / ML analysis, the challenges of integrating data protection are extra challenging. That is why CeBida has invited Birgitte Kofod Olsen, who will present in the presentation what processes and tools can help to handle correct data use and ensure embedded data protection.
Birgitte Kofod Olsen is a partner in Carve Consulting, a lawyer with a Ph.D. in biometrics and data protection. She advises companies on data protection and has just published the book Handbook in Data Responsibility (Djøf)
