ISE Lecture Series: Handbook of Political Anthropology
Join the first ISE Lecture seminar with Bjørn Thomassen, Mette Fog Olwig and Sune Haugbølle who will present the Handbook of Political Anthropology.
The Department of Social Sciences and Business (ISE) invites everyone to attend the first lecture of the Spring 2019 ISE Lecture Series. The series presents significant new results from the researchers in the department. The first seminar is with Bjørn Thomassen, Mette Fog Olwig and Sune Haugbølle who will present the Handbook of Political Anthropology.
The new Handbook of Political Anthropology introduces readers to the major theoretical and methodological debates in political anthropology, a field that combines anthropology, culture, politics and international relations. Each chapter explores different political aspects of human interactions in a globalizing world by focusing on topics such as war zones, revolutions, migration, securitization, territorial borders, climate change and ethno-religious violence.
