Research library with public access
Roskilde University Library (RUb) is a research library that gives employees and students at Roskilde University access to information and materials that are necessary for their research, teaching and learning.
Roskilde University Library is also a public library for regional research and teaching institutions, businesses and citizens.
Roskilde University Library is part of Royal Danish Library, which is responsible for all technical details regarding the library system and registration etc.

Opening hours

The staffed opening hours at university library are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 – 15:00.
During this time, anyone can enter the library.

Access to the library is available from 8:00 – midnight for RUC students and RUC employees with a student/employee card.
External users can gain access by contacting the library's information desk during staffed opening hours and receiving an access code.

On 23 December (if this is a weekday) and on weekdays between Christmas and New Year, the library's staffed opening hours are from 9:00 - 13:00.
